This week MedCam is pleased to announce You that February 7, 2013 has been enshrined in the agreement between the Government, the Regions and the autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano regarding criteria and procedures for training and exercise of acupuncture, phytotheraphy and homeopathy by surgeons and dentists.
It is a historic agreement which regulates over 20000 doctors (as well as veterinarians and pharmacists) who exercise acupuncture, phytotherapy, homeopathy and other therapies using diluted medicinal.
The agreement also regulated the certified training path of practioners from these disciplines.
Physicians, provided of the regular training, can also enroll in special lists, distinguished by discipline, established at the provincial professional Associations of surgeons and dentists.
With this important agreement, Italy takes a big step forward and can be joining the other European States, while protecting doctors and citizens in the free choice of the therapeutic process.
